More Than a Record

A song is one thing. But lately I've been thinking about what surrounds it — the art, the words, the world a record came from. The parts that usually get left on the floor.

So I've started building something: box sets. Not just the music, but the fuller version of it — the artwork the way it's meant to be seen, the writing behind the songs, pieces of the work that have never left the room. A way to step further in.

It's still coming together. I'm in it now, piece by piece, figuring out what belongs and what doesn't. But it's becoming the thing I hoped it would — and the first one is closer than it's been.
