Artist’s Note:

It all begins with an idea. This one came while I was sitting in a hotel room in Houston, Texas. After a long day of meetings I was winding down when suddenly the melody for this chorus came crashing into my brain.

I grabbed my phone, the only recording device I had at the time, and sang a few lines. When I returned home to Austin I spent the weekend building this song. It came together in about two days, and was released shortly after.

Sometimes songs come from random places and if you don’t quickly capture them, they are gone. I’m glad this one got done.
