Don’t Break My Heart
Artist’s Note:
This is the first release of 2025, a year that I think will be monumental for my music. I recorded and produced this song entirely by myself in my home studio in Austin. It started with the simple piano/pad chords that you hear in the beginning, and then it went from there. My foray into pop music has been a fun and wild adventure.
Sometimes it's a bit strange to take break from using my guitar on records. The guitar is my main instrument so it feels bizarre not to include it as the centerpiece in a recording. But this song was just me, a laptop, a microphone and lots of hard work.
I had a blast making this song. I hope you love listening to it!
